Private Yoga Session
Kelly will work to design a yoga practice that best meets your needs. This could range from gentle healing and restorative practice to challenging physical practice and balances. Kelly will draw on her experience with fitness for more than 30 years, her therapeutic yoga training and her registered yoga teacher training experience to collaborate with you. A session will consist of 55 minutes practicing together in the studio. Kelly will then provide you with a summary so that you may make use of the asanas (forms) that are designed specifically for you to add to your own practice.
These sessions are available at Oxygen Yoga and Fitness New Westminster (limited time availability) or in your home.
Private Yoga Therapy Session
These sessions combine therapeutic counselling and yoga therapy to help you on your journey to wellness. Kelly will work with you to strengthen your body, mind, and spirit in order to help you to feel better and move closer to being the person that you want to be. Narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and Trauma-Informed Yoga will be offered as approaches to recognize and overcome obstacles that are currently preventing you from experiencing physical and mental wellbeing. A typical session would begin with a check-in and therapeutic conversation (with the possibility of an EMDR protocol), followed by a grounding practice, a short session of gentle physical practice, visualization or progressive relaxation and then end with collaborative goal setting.
Kelly’s areas of specialty include (but are not limited to): adolescent therapy, parenting, parent/teen mediation, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, trauma, and chronic pain.


Private Counselling Therapy Session
You are not the problem! The problem is the problem!!! Kelly would be honoured to offer you private therapeutic counselling sessions and escort you on your journey to discover the problem that is causing you distress. Your journey will continue as Kelly offers skills and strategies for re-authoring your story as one of resilience and managing, coping with, or embracing the problem as you approach wellness. Gentle Healing Group Sessions
These sessions take place at Oxygen Yoga and Fitness New Westminster in a group setting. They are six week sessions typically one hour each in length.
These sessions include psycho-education, physical practice, breathing practice (pranayama), guided visualization, progressive relaxation, and grounding techniques.
Topics include ( but are not limited to) anxiety reduction, stress reduction, and management of chronic pain.
Get ready to engage in self care and relaxation!!
Kelly provides follow up information and scripts to practice independently as part of these sessions.


Yoga Therapy for Sleep Workshop
In this Two Hour Group Workshop you will learn about the causes and symptoms of sleeplessness. You will have the opportunity to complete a personal sleep survey for the purpose of recognizing factors that may be interfering with your ability to experience quality sleep.
Together we will practice pranayama (breathing) to aid in enhancing quality sleep.
We will also practice a morning, evening, and interrupted sleep physical practice (you are not required to have experience practicing yoga for this to be effective).
Included in this workshop is Guided Yoga Nidra - a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.
You will be provided with a handout of all of the information that is shared in the workshop so that you can make use of what you have learned independently at home.
